Going With Your Guts

If you’ve ever watched that show Deal or No Deal you will know what I am talking about here. For those who don’t, here’s how it works.

From watching the game show, I learned that a lot of the contestants take a deal from the banker before the game is over. The funny thing is that after they take the deal and they are asked to keep playing the game to see what would’ve happened, the offer gets bigger and most of the time they would have walked out with more money if they had kept playing.

So that brought me to think, why do people ever trust their gut. We’ve heard people tell us trust your gut, go with your gut, do what you think etc…but why don’t we listen.

I think it’s why only 5% of the people, the risk takers, the money makers, the successful, are where they’re at. So next time you make a decision, say No Deal! and go with your gut not with your head. When you take risks the reward gets bigger and your luck starts changing.

So what do you say, Deal or No Deal?

I agree – it is important to go with your gut… your instincts – but only if you have figured out how to determine when your gut is speaking to you. Sometimes it’s difficult to tell what is truly coming from your gut and what isn’t.

I agree that sometimes it can be hard. But if you are constantly listening to your thoughts you can easily find it truly.

    Hey Wilson!

Nice article here. I have personally found going with my gut not only feels much better, but the outcome 99% was the best choice. For Adrienne, I would say that knowing the difference between your gut or “Instinct” is something that can be developed, through the practice of daily meditation.
